Social Science Working Group Membership
Since its establishment in 2003, the SSWG has seen steady growth in its membership as well as in the countries represented by its members. Today, SSWG boasts 400 members within the Society for Conservation Biology and has a listserve of over 1200 members.
To become a member of our vibrant community:
1. Go to conbio.org, the Society for Conservation Biology's homepage.
2. Logon to your SCB Membership page or sign-up if you are not yet a member of the Society for Conservation Biology
3. On the right hand side of your member page (at the top it will say 'Welcome' and then your name), you will see the "Your Society Involvement" menu bar. Under Working Group Associations in this menu bar, click the "Join a a Working Group" option and select "Social Science" from the
drop down menu. Then click "add."
4. You should now be an official member of the Social Science Working Group.
