Subject: Citizen Science in Southeast Asia (SYMPOSIUM)
The newly formed Citizen Science Research Cluster at Yale-NUS College in Singapore is excited to announce the Citizen Science in Southeast Asia symposium, to be held on the Yale-NUS Campus from 3-4 March 2017.
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Caren Cooper (http://www.carencooper.com/) as our keynote speaker, and will have other prominent speakers covering topics such as assessing the quality of citizen-gathered data, the role of technology in citizen science, and bridging citizen science with pedagogy. The format of the symposium will be a mixture of morning talks and afternoon workshops, with the goal of increasing understanding of citizen science both locally and internationally. Details can be found on the symposium website (http://citizensciencesoutheastasia.weebly.com/). Registration is free (https://goo.gl/forms/jcpdRnAUDL39YlRc2) and meals are provided.
We hope to see you there!
