We have limited spaces remaining to the “Conservation for Development Professionals: Strategies for Implementing Biodiversity Action Plans for the Private Sector," Course being held August 7 - 11, 2017.

The Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute’s Center for Conservation and Sustainability invites you to learn how to create and implement Biodiversity Action Plans. Participants will learn from worldwide case studies from various industries. International standards (IFC PS6), the mitigation hierarchy and other key concepts to develop BAPs in order to manage biodiversity are also discussed.  Click here for further course details. 

We recommend you secure your participation soon as space is limited. The course will be held at the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation in Front Royal, Virginia.
