In order to make you and your accompanying persons visit to ECCB2018 as enjoyable as possible, accompanying guests of the congress will have the opportunity to register for several tours which will give the opportunity to enjoy different places of this beautiful Jyväskylä. Description: A tour to the small city of Mänttä to enjoy art, culture and delicious food. The journey itself is a sightseeing tour around the Jyväskylä region, including the Old Church of Petäjävesi, a UNESCO World Heritage Church renowned worldwide as a masterpiece of Scandinavian architecture. In Mänttä, we will take guided tours in the Serlachius Museums. The visit will close with an exquisite 3-course dinner, accompanied by vivid stories from the past. The Gösta Museum showcases contemporary art, as well as the pearls of the Golden Age of Finnish art. The Gustaf Museum is located in the former head office of the historical forest combine G.A. Serlachius Ltd. and there one can acquaint oneself with the colorful history and magnificent architecture of the building.
- Schedule: Bus will take the participants to the small city of Mänttä (approximately one hour drive from Jyväskylä). Duration of the guided tour is about one hour.
Description: Jyväskylä is the home town of the internationally renowned architect and designer Alvar Aalto. We will offer a guided tour to visit the Alvar Aalto Museum and buildings designed by Aalto. In addition to the guided option, there is also a do-it-yourself option, as the museum and some of the buildings are within walking distance from the congress center.

Lutakko rocks, Society shakes
Description: One of the most famous Finnish rock clubs is Lutakko, situated only 100 m from the conference center. Young rockers and old hippies can dedicate one late evening for live music by local bands. An open stage for congress participants will also be organized.
