About CACNepal 2026
The Society for Conservation Biology – Asia Section (SCB Asia) and the Burhan Community Regeneration and Conservation Foundation (BCRCF) are pleased to welcome you to Kathmandu, Nepal, for the 6th Conservation Asia Congress (CACNepal 2026).
Taking place from 3-5 June 2026, with workshops on June 2 at the Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha, the congress will bring together over 400 conservation professionals, practitioners, policymakers, community leaders, artists, students, and journalists. This vibrant gathering will showcase research, lessons, and tools that highlight successful conservation practices across Asia.
Under the theme “Harmonizing Biodiversity and Human Well-being in Asia,” CACNepal 2026 will be the premier networking event for the Asian conservation community, fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation for the future of conservation in the region.
