About CACN 2026

The SCB Asia Region and the Burhan Community Regeneration and Conservation Foundation (BCRCF) are excited to welcome you to Kathmandu, Nepal for Conservation Asia Conference Nepal 2026 (CACN 2026).

This conference will convene a vibrant conservation academic community, local community leaders, practitioners, policymakers, national protected area authorities, artists, students, and journalists to share research lessons and tools learned over the years that showcase successful conservation practices in Asia.

With over 300 conservation professionals and students in attendance, CACN 2026 will be the major networking event for Asian conservationists.

CACN 2026 will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, at the Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha from March 18-20, 2026, with workshops on March 17. The theme is "Harmonizing biodiversity and human well-being in Asia."

Burhan Community Regeneration and Conservation Foundation

Burhan Community Regeneration and Conservation Foundation (BCRCF) champions community-led conservation rooted in justice, culture, and sustainability. Its mission: empower local communities to protect nature, reduce human-wildlife conflict, preserve Indigenous heritage, influence policy, and build sustainable livelihoods through conservation-driven enterprise.
