Conservation Asia Congress Nepal 2026

Rates for the Conservation Asia Congress Nepal 2026 are determined according to attendees’ country income category (low-, middle-, or high-income), career stage (student or professional), and SCB membership status. We are pleased to offer discounted registration rates for current SCB full members.

While we strive to make CAC Nepal as financially accessible as possible, registration fees are essential for covering the substantial costs of hosting an international congress—including venue services and all meals for participants. Your registration directly supports the delivery of a high-quality scientific program and helps bring together our regional and global community to advance the science and practice of biodiversity conservation.

CAC Nepal’s tiered pricing structure reflects our commitment to inclusivity and equity. We aim to reduce barriers to participation and ensure that people working for biodiversity conservation across diverse contexts can join us. Current SCB full members receive reduced registration rates; we encourage those who can to join or renew their membership to access this benefit.  Join now to receive the discount.

Rates are displayed in USD (click here for a currency converter) and include a small adjustment to offset payment processing costs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is included in the registration fee?

Registration for CAC Nepal 2026 includes access to all scientific sessions, the poster exhibition, scheduled social events, daily coffee breaks, lunches, and other meals provided during the Congress (except for No-meal rates). Delegates also receive access to the digital program and abstract book.

How are registration rates determined?

Registration rates are based on the following factors:

  • Country income category (low-, middle-, or high-income)
  • Career stage (student or professional)
  • SCB membership status (active SCB full members receive a discounted rate)
  • Local residency in Nepal (to ensure accessibility for participants from the host country, special local rates are available for Nepal-based delegates).

Do I need to be an SCB member to register?

No. Non-members are welcome to register. However, SCB full members benefit from reduced registration fees. If eligible, we encourage you to join or renew your membership before registering.

Are student rates available?

Yes. Discounted student rates are available for attendees enrolled in a recognized academic program. Proof of student status may be required at the time of registration or check-in.

Is CAC Nepal 2026 financially accessible for delegates from low- and middle-income countries?

Yes. Our tiered pricing structure is designed to reduce financial barriers and support participation from across Asia and beyond. This approach reflects our commitment to inclusivity and equity.

In what currency are fees listed?

Registration fees are displayed in USD. A currency converter is provided for international attendees.

When does registration open?

Registration opens on late Wednesday, 3 December 2025. It stays open until the first day of the event, following rate adjustments.

Are there funding opportunities for students or delegates from low-income backgrounds?

Yes. CAC Nepal 2026 offers travel bursaries to support early-career conservationists, students, and practitioners from Asia — particularly those from low- and middle-income countries. While our goal is to provide up to 100 travel bursaries, final numbers will depend on the total funding secured. We anticipate being able to support a significant number of applicants.

Eligible participants may apply directly during the abstract submission process. When submitting your abstract, simply select the option indicating that you wish to be considered for a travel bursary. The selection process will take place after submissions close, and applicants will be notified as funding is confirmed.

Can I donate to support the Congress?

Yes. Direct donations of any amount are welcome. Click here to find more about our sponsorship opportunities. Kindly email us afterward at conservationasia@conbio.org so we can acknowledge your support.
