The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) provides complimentary registration for accredited members of the press, including:
- Journalists and Editors
- News photographers
- Correspondents from print, digital, and broadcast media
Bloggers and independent digital writers may apply for press credentials if they:
- Are affiliated with a recognized conservation, environment, or science news outlet.
- Demonstrate a history of published posts.
- Cover topics relevant to conservation, biodiversity, climate, or sustainability.
Student journalists enrolled in journalism programs or contributing to university publications or conservation-focused media may also be considered. Accreditation is granted on a case-by-case basis.
