About the Film
The Snow Leopard Conservancy is the proud impact partner for the multi-award-winning feature documentary film, Snow Leopard Sisters. The film spotlights the groundbreaking conservation work of longstanding local partner, Tshiring Lhamu Lama, to safeguard endangered snow leopards in her home district of Dolpo, Nepal.
Together, they are working to reduce conflict between people and snow leopards through local education programming, construction of predator-proof corrals, and establishing a green local economy centered on snow leopard conservation.
"Snow Leopard Sisters is a visually breathtaking, deeply moving documentary that intertwines a story about conservation, Indigenous resilience, and female empowerment against the backdrop of Nepal's remote Dolpo region."
