Presentation Guidelines
We look forward to your presentation at the Conservation Asia Congress (CAC) Nepal 2026! Please review the guidelines below to ensure your session runs smoothly.
Full Oral Talks
- Total Time: 12 minutes
- Format: 10 minutes for your presentation, followed by 2 minutes for Q&A.
- Please note that session chairs will strictly enforce time limits to ensure all speakers have their allotted time.
Speed Talks
- Total Time: 6 minutes
- Format: 5 minutes for your presentation, followed by 1 minute for Q&A.
- Given the brief format, we recommend focusing on your core message and key findings.
Poster Presentations
Specifications
- Dimensions: Your poster must be printed in standard A0 size (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm / 33.1 in x 46.8 in).
- Orientation: Portrait orientation is required to fit the provided display boards.
- Legibility: Your poster should be easily readable from a distance of at least 6 feet (1.8 meters). Ensure your design is bold, visually engaging, and clear enough to be understood even when you are not standing next to it.
Display
- Printing: Please print your poster before travelling and bring it with you to the venue. Do not mail your poster in advance.
- Mounting: Upon arrival, check the program to find your assigned poster number. You may only hang your poster on the board that matches your specific number. Mounting materials (pins/tape) will be provided.
- Presentation Time: Please ensure you are standing by your poster during the designated Poster Sessions to present your work and answer questions from attendees.
- Removal: All posters must be taken down by 1:00 PM on Friday, June 5th (the final day of the Congress). Any posters left behind after this time will be discarded.
