Travel Support Scholarships
&
Student Poster Awards
The Conservation Asia Congress Nepal 2026 (CAC Nepal 2026) is proud to offer two key opportunities to support and recognize our delegates: Travel Support Scholarships and the Student Poster Awards Competition. By managing both portfolios, our leadership committee ensures that resources are directed toward both celebrating research excellence and fostering inclusivity.
Travel Support Scholarships
Travel Support Scholarships are intended to facilitate attendance at the Congress and to help reduce financial barriers for presenters whose participation would otherwise be limited.
Application Status & Notifications
Please note: The application period for Travel Support Scholarships is now closed, as applications were submitted concurrently with abstract submissions.
The majority of travel support distributions were communicated by the end of the Early Bird registration period. However, further distributions and adjustments may occur as additional funding becomes available, up until the end of the Regular Registration period. If you applied for a travel bursary, please keep a close eye on your email communications until then.
Nature of the Award
- Travel Support Scholarships are provided as a fixed amount.
- The award may be used to partially support travel costs, and/or may (or may not) include a full or partial Congress registration waiver, depending on individual need, distance travelled, and available funding.
- The scholarship is intended as a contribution toward expenses and may not cover all costs associated with attendance.
Student Poster Awards Competition
In addition to travel support, CAC Nepal 2026 is excited to host the Student Poster Awards Competition. The awards will exclusively recognize outstanding student poster presentations this year.
Eligibility & Prizes
- Eligibility: All accepted posters in the student category (where the primary author and presenter is an actively enrolled Undergraduate, Masters, or PhD student) will enter the competition.
- The Prizes: Three outstanding delegates will be awarded (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Each winner will receive a 2-year SCB Membership! This membership prize is highly flexible and can be activated at any time up to 5 years from the date of the award.
Selection Process: Popular Vote!
This year, the winners will be chosen by popular vote! All Congress participants will be invited to view the poster sessions and cast their vote for the best student poster via the official CAC Nepal 2026 channels. We encourage all attendees to engage with our student presenters and support their incredible work.
