Inclusivity & Accessibility

The Conservation Asia Congress Nepal 2026 (CAC Nepal 2026) is founded on the belief that Asia’s conservation future depends on harmonising biodiversity and human well-being through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared responsibility. We strive to create an inclusive, respectful, and accessible environment that lowers barriers to participation, amplifies underrepresented voices, and empowers emerging leaders across Asia.

Language Accessibility

CAC Nepal 2026 will operate primarily in English. At this time, formal translation or simultaneous interpretation services will not be provided. However, we recognize that language can influence access to knowledge and professional opportunities. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where participants feel comfortable engaging across languages.

  • For Presenters: Visual aids, plain language, and structured presentations are strongly encouraged.
  • For Reviewers: Reviewers are instructed to prioritize scientific and practical merit over stylistic language proficiency. Reviewers will not reject proposals solely due to imperfect English and will offer constructive, respectful feedback.
  • For Attendees: Participants are welcome and encouraged to support one another through informal peer-to-peer language assistance and collaborative dialogue. We ask all delegates to be considerate of non-native speakers, tolerant of linguistic mistakes, and respectful of different communication styles.

Code of Conduct

The hosts and organizing partners of CAC Nepal 2026 strive to promote a welcoming environment at the Congress that is safe, collaborative, supportive, inclusive, and productive for all attendees and service providers. We value the diversity of views, expertise, opinions, backgrounds, and experiences reflected among attendees.

To ensure a safe and equitable space, all delegates and guests are expected to adhere to the Congress' Code of Conduct.

  • Expected Behaviour: Treat everyone with respect and consideration, construct critique ideas rather than individuals, and step back to allow others the space to speak up.
  • Unacceptable Behaviour: Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, abuse, or deliberate disruption of presentations will not be tolerated.
  • Enforcement: CAC Nepal 2026 staff or security may take any action deemed necessary, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning and potentially without refund.
