Registration for LACA/SCB 2026 ARE NOW OPENED It is a two-step process, you need to fill in the Registration Survey and then make the payment here.
Attention Presenters & Session Organizers: All presenters & session organizers must register by the early bird deadline to guarantee their accepted talks / posters / proposals in the LACA 2024 Program.

In-persIn-person registration includes a ticket to the Tuesday evening opening plenary & reception, and Scientific Program (Wednesday through Friday) – including coffee & pm breaks, poster session reception with hors d’oeuvres, and some additional events as Workshops and short courses. Field trips, (Saturday) are not included in the price of registration.
Developing country rates are available to LACA attendees currently residing in developing/LDC countries as defined by the UN.
Registration Reimbursement Policy:
Before October 20: 80% of the reg fee returned, no charge to drop from full to one-day registration.
From October 20 onward: no refund for cancellation, no refund for swap from full to one day registration.
If an in-person meeting is not possible, attendees will be eligible to receive a full refund.
Attendee Substitution:
Substitutions for attendees are accepted at any time. LACA will not, however, swap, reverse or refund the transaction. Email scblacacongress@gmail.com to process a substitution. Your email should include your name, abstract ID number and presentation type if you are a presenter, and the contact details of the substitute attendee. Please indicate if the substitute will present your abstract, if applicable. The subject line should be “LACA Attendee Substitution Request”.

- Deadline for applications: September 30, 2026.
- Award Decisions and notifications will BE OUT BY MID OCTOBER.
- Awardees will have until October 20, 2026, to accept an award and confirm LACA2024 attendance.
