Early registration is open until July 31, 2026!
We encourage participants to take advantage of the early registration period, as regular and late rates will be at least 15% higher than the early registration rates.
Registering early is the best way to confirm your participation at the most affordable rate.
Please log in here to register for IMCC8. You can sign in using your SCB credentials. You have SCB credentials if you are a current or former member of the Society, or if you've previously created an account with SCB to submit an abstract or to register for IMCC or ICCB. New to SCB? Create an account, and then you'll then be redirected to the IMCC8 site to submit.

Developing Country registration rates are intended to support participants based in developing countries. To be eligible, individuals must both live and work in a developing country. Those residing in developed countries are not eligible, regardless of where their work is conducted.
*SIDS: Small Island Developing States
Please note: We are not offering Travel Grants for IMCC8 at this time. If funding becomes available from private or public funding sources in Scotland or our international donors, we will offer a limited number of registration bursaries associated with volunteer opportunities and will share this information through our website. Press Accreditation
IMCC8 is thrilled to welcome members of the press and invite you to apply for media accreditation. If you are interested in covering science, policy, and discussions shaping global ocean stewardship, please submit your application through our short form. Once received, the IMCC8 organizing team will review your details and reach out within 2 to 3 weeks regarding your approval status. The deadline to apply for press accreditation is August 14, 2026.
