There is a large variety of accommodation possibilities available in Jyväskylä. The hotels of the city are accustomed to accommodate visitors attending conferences. The hotels are situated within 2-30 min walking distance from the conference venue. It is also possible to choose inexpensive bed and breakfast, or summer hotel accommodation which would be particularly attractive for students on low budgets.

There are three summer hotels in Jyväskylä; two in the city center and one just outside the city in the Kortepohja student village:

  • Forenom (Single aparthotel and hostel rooms in the city centre)
  • Jyväskylä Christian Institute (Kuokkala, 2,4 km from Paviljonki)

Limited number of rooms are reserved for conference participants in the following hotels: 

All room prices include buffet breakfast and free Wlan. The conference prices are valid till 9.4.2018. All bookings should be made directly to Hotel. Please note that the accommodation is not included in the conference fee and should be paid directly in the selected hotel.

Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki is situated next door from the conference site. The other hotels are situated in the city centre within 15-20 minute walking distance from the conference venue. 

For alternative accommodation the Jyväskylä Regional Tourist Information website is a good place to start looking. It is also possible to choose inexpensive summer hotel accommodation. It also pays to consider traditional Finnish summer cottage-style accommodation.
