Sponsorship Policy
The Society for Conservation Biology Marine Section (SCB Marine Section) has a conscientious sponsorship policy. Donations and sponsorships, including exhibits, will only be accepted from organizations, individuals, or governments whose mission, vision, ethical positions and/or values, and practice are consistent with those of the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) and the SCB Marine Section.The mission of SCB is to advance the science and practice of conserving Earth’s biological diversity.
The mission of the SCB Marine Section is to advance the science and practice of conserving the Earth’s marine biological diversity. Determinations on sponsorship and donations will be made by the IMCC Sponsorship Committee, IMCC Conference Chairs, and the SCB Marine Section board, who will draw from reputable third-party reviewers where possible.
