Conference and Event Registration

The 4th International Marine Conservation Congress is in beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada (YYT). As the Society for Conservation Biology is headquartered in the U.S., registration fees are in US dollars

The online registration system is closed. You can still register for pre-conference field trips, workshops, and focus groups by emailing Mary Lou Scarbrough.

Anyone who receives travel approval after the online system has closed, but cannot register on-site, may use the IMCC4 Registration pdf. Delegates registering using the pdf should email the completed form to Mary Lou Scarbrough. Delegates who register between July 6 and on-site registration will receive late registration rates. To receive the registration discount for being a member of the Society for Conservation Biology, you will need to provide your SCB member number. This can be found by logging in to the member area of conbio.org.

All other delegates who need to register after the online registration system has closed can register on-site at the Delta Conference Starting starting July 30. Delegates who register on-site will receive the on-site registration rates.

If you require a registration form in another format or need assistance with registering due to accessibility issues, please also contact Samantha Oester and Luli Martinez.

As part of IMCC4 initiatives, the  International Marine Conservation Congress and the Society for Conservation Biology Marine Section will be donating to a carbon offset project to cover the carbon footprint of delegate travel and organizing the conference. Thus, delegates will not be asked to add an additional carbon offset fee on top of  their IMCC4 registration total. For more information on the carbon offset project IMCC4 is funding, please visit the Carbon Offsetting page.

Registration fees for workshops, focus groups, short courses, and student activities can be found on each page, as well as on the IMCC4 Registration pdf.

Also as part of IMCC4 initiatives, delegates from countries defined as developing by the World Bank and delegates from countries designated as Small Island Developing States by the United Nations qualify for a discounted registration fee.
