Conservation Asia Congress Nepal 2026
The Society for Conservation Biology Asia Region, Nepal Chapter and the Burhan Community Regeneration and Conservation Foundation are pleased to host the 6th Conservation Asia Congress in Kathmandu, Nepal, under the theme "Harmonising Biodiversity and Human Well-being in Asia."
Set against Nepal’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage, Kathmandu provides an inspiring backdrop for advancing conservation dialogue and collaboration. CACNepal 2026 marks a homecoming for Conservation Asia to where the first-ever SCB regional conference was held in 2005, celebrating two decades of progress and renewing Asia’s collective commitment to conservation.
CAC Nepal 2026 will take place from 3–5 June 2026 at the Yak & Yeti heritage hotel, located in Durbar Marg, the thriving city center of Kathmandu Valley, with convenient access to key services and cultural landmarks.
CACNepal 2026 will bring together a vibrant community of conservation scientists, local leaders, practitioners, policymakers, artists, students, journalists, and representatives from protected area authorities. Participants will share research, experiences, and tools that highlight successful conservation practices across Asia.
