Members from the SCB IPBES delegation talk strategy at an IPBES meeting in Bonn, Germany in 2013. SCB has been involved with IPBES since its inception in 2009. |
IPBES (International Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) is calling for nominations for the next round of assessments.
SCB strongly supports the work of this platform. Nominations are particularly welcome from colleagues from SCB’s Africa, Asia, and LACA regions, and from eastern Europe. Experts can be nominated by governments or by stakeholder organisations (e.g., SCB).
Contact your IPBES national focal point to get more information about your national nomination process, and contact Bege Jonsson (chair of SCB’s IPBES committee) if you want more information about being nominated by SCB. Click here for the application form and further instructions.
