SCB Launches New Website

We are excited to unveil SCB's new website. The new site replaces one built in 2005. In designing the new site, our goals were to modernize appearance and functionality, streamline confusing information architecture and technical aspects of usability, augment services, and incorporate the latest web technology. We intend for the new site to serve our complex organizational, membership, and programmatic needs.  Development of the new site included the addition of a content management system whereby widespread staff, volunteers and Board members will now be able to update the site.

View the site map as a good way to familiarize and explore the new website.

Several high level goals for the site:
  1. To become a one-stop conservation center, and a must-read for people in the field. We strive to be the authoritative site on conservation science and practice, and provide inspiration and motivation.
  2. To become a tool for members to be active in SCB and for members to feel that via the site, they can connect and come together as one united voice on important conservation issues.
  3. To attract new members and funders, and interest the general public
  4. To align with SCB's strategic goals and reflect our mission and very clearly and consistently express who we are.

We hope you'll take a few minutes to explore SCB's new site! And please send any comments or feedback to webfeedback@conbio.org.
