Subject: Climate Time Series Analysis (ONLINE)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Learn the basic concepts of climatology and statistical time series analysis. This course is specifically tailored to the needs of professional researchers in climatology, ecology, and the wildlife sciences interested in learning to combine these disciplines but have had little in-depth mathematical or statistical training.

PREREQUISITES: Calculus and statistics

FORMAT: Researchers and students will take the course at their own pace over a 3-week period. The course is divided into discrete competency-based modules composed of pre-recorded lecture material and hands-on exercises. Students will interact with each other and the instructor by email, online discussion threads, and live Q&A. Each student will also have the opportunity to schedule a one hour, one-on-one consultations with the instructor following the course to discuss course materials or their individual datasets.
