Subject: Condición de la conservación en Latinoamérica y el Caribe

Within the framework of the LACA Regional Collaboration Network, we are conducting a study that aims to follow up on the assessment of conservation challenges carried out by the regional section of the Society for Conservation Biology in 2009 (Ceballos et al. 2009). To do so, we are inviting all those who are directly involved in the conservation of an area or species to answer a brief survey on “Status and challenges of conservation in the Latin American and Caribbean region” by anyone who is directly involved in the conservation of an area or species, whether in the planning and implementation of conservation strategies (such as action plans), supervision of management or monitoring of areas/species, the evaluation of the results of these actions, or working directly in the field.

We are interested in knowing your point of view. If you can answer the survey, the information you provide will be of great help.
You can access the survey at the following link: https://forms.gle/N4FstAKut3DZsVvj9

The purpose of the following survey is to determine the lines of work, threats, collaborations and forms of dissemination that exist in each country in the region. The results and proposals for action will be discussed during the 4th LACA 2024 Conservation Congress to be held in the City of Quito, Ecuador from November 25 to 29, 2024.
