Subject: The Wildlife Center of Virginia’s Call of the Wild Conference!

NOVEMBER 21-23, 2025, Waynesboro, VA

The Wildlife Center of Virginia’s annual Call of the Wild conference is one of the premier continuing education opportunities for wildlife rehabilitators and other wildlife “first responders.” Co-sponsored by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, this hybrid event draws nearly 400 participants from around the world — including rehabilitators, veterinary professionals, wildlife biologists, environmental educators, and passionate wildlife enthusiasts. It’s a weekend filled with shared knowledge, fresh ideas, and inspiration to fuel your work with wildlife and the environment.

Friday, Nov 21 (in-person and livestreamed online): Wildlife Health Today: Disease, Biosecurity, and One Health Perspectives Seminar (with in-person and live-streamed options), offering more than six hours of CE credit.

Saturday, Nov 22 (in-person only): In-person hands-on workshops on biosecurity, oiled wildlife response, and core skills, offering more than six hours of CE credit.

Sunday, Nov 23 (online only): Online lectures and discussions with topics like Rat Poison Roundup, Raptor Ophthalmology, and Avian Wound Healing. A total of 13 CE hours available.
