SCB Conservation Marketing and Engagement Working Group hosting logo competition

ConsMark needs a new look and you can help!

The mission of ConsMark is to widen and strengthen the use of marketing theory and tools across conservation research and practice, and we want a logo that represents the spirit of the Working Group. Simple as that!

Who can participate?

  • Anyone! Participants can be of any nationality and age. Teams welcome.

  • Participants can submit more than one logo.

Competition criteria

  • The design must follow SCB Branding Guidelines for Working Groups.

  • The logo should remain consistent with the design philosophy of SCB: simple is better.

  • The design may incorporate unique elements of each Working Group as an iconic element centered above the name—part of which must include at least one element from the official Society logo (see below).

  • High-resolution images in VECTOR format are preferred, with .ai (Adobe Illustrator) or .eps (Adobe Illustrator) formats the optimal entry type. All type must be converted to outlines/curves. We will also accept PDF or JPEG files that are not vector files, but may be converted for production. If your design is hand-drawn it must be scanned and converted into a PDF or JPEG file.

  • ConsMark reserves the right to make adjustments to the winning design.

Logos that do not follow the guidelines will be disqualified. The winner will be decided by the ConsMark Board before the end of November 2016.

Prize: The winner of the competition will be be able to chose between to prize alternative: USD $200 or free registration to the conference ConsMark will be organizing in 2018 in the Washington DC area. The winner will also be recognised on the ConsMark webpage and social media (Facebook and Twitter).
