SCB leadership roles provide a diversity of critical intellectual capital and strategic resources needed to set and achieve the Society’s strategic plan and priorities, strengthen its various communities, and ensure its success.
These leadership opportunities also provide a powerful way to build your own skills and expertise. Individuals who serve on a board have the opportunity to develop and grow as leaders, cultivate new skill sets, and expand their network of peers, professionals, and community leaders.

Board of Governor Positions Available:
The BoG serves as the governing body of SCB and is responsible for assuring that the overall management of the Society is conducted in a manner that secures and maintains its well-being and longevity. 2019 BoG positions up for election include:
President Elect (6 year term from 7/19-6/21: President Elect; 7/21-6/23: President; 7/23-6/25: Past President)
Treasurer (3 year term from 7/19-6/22)
Secretary (4 year term from 7/19-6/23)
Equity, Inclusion & Diversity Officer (3 year term from 7/19-6/22)
Vice President for Programs (4 year term from 7/19-6/23)
