Digital half-day workshop
April 22nd, 2021, 9.00 am - 12.45 pm (GMT +1 hour)
You are welcome to participate in a half-day workshop where we will hear about the situation for threatened species, main threats and possible trends of these in the Nordic countries.
Speakers are representatives from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden working with the national Red Lists.
We will discuss similarities and differences between countries and what we can learn from these.
In themed discussions, we will focus on changes in drivers of threats over time, the limitations, possibilities and perceptions of the Red Lists and finally how Red Lists are and can be used in conservation work. The workshop is aimed at anyone who works with or is interested to work with Red Lists.
Our speakers are:
Jesper Erenskjold Moeslund, Aarhus University, Denmark
Ulla-Maja Liukko, Finnish Environment Institute, Finland
