ACT celebrates the life and work of Kate McFadden, who passed away on 28 October at the age of 41. Kate was faculty member at Clemson University, SC, and mentored students in the Wildlife & Fisheries Biology program. A resource person for the Society of Conservation Biology (SCB) Africa Section, Kate was previously in Rwanda on a Fulbright to teach for the MSc Biodiversity Conservation program at the University of Rwanda.
