Freshwater Working Group (FWWG)
In 2003 at SCB's annual meeting in Duluth, Minnesota, the Freshwater Working Group was formed to help promote freshwater conservation concerns within the Society and the discipline at large.
Freshwater Working Group Mission:
Promote effective freshwater ecosystem conservation, science and scholarship across the globe. The FWWG meets several times a year (by skype or in person), organizing symposia on freshwater issues and promoting community engagement in freshwater topics.
